Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has urged Nigerians to take preventive measures against fire outbreaks in the country. Speaking about the potential risks of disasters, including storms and floods, he emphasized the need for vigilance and prayer.
In his message, Pastor Adeboye shared a prophetic warning, stating, “At the beginning of this year, one of the prophecies was to pray against fire outbreaks, storms, and floods.” Reflecting on the increase in fire incidents globally, he reminded Nigerians that the country is not immune to these risks and must remain prayerful.
He specifically cautioned farmers preparing their lands for cultivation, urging them not to engage in bush burning. “Don’t joke with any form of naked fire around you,” Pastor Adeboye stressed. He also advised farmers, saying, “Please don’t burn bushes while preparing your farms.” He concluded with a prayer, asking for God’s intervention and protection, saying, "May the Almighty God answer our prayers and grant our requests."
